Jayanti Behera wins gold in Khelo India Para Games 2025

Bhubaneswar : Odisha’s para-athlete Jayanti Behera and Janaki Oram secured the gold and silver medals in the Khelo India Para Games 2025 at Delhi on Friday.
Jayanti won first gold medal for the State in the Women’s T-47 100m event with an impressive time of 13.71 seconds. Bhavani Valasamgari of Andhra Pradesh and Nishu from Panjab bagged silver and bronze medals with a timing of 13.96 sec and 15.14 sec respectively.
Janaki Oram showcased her talent and determination by securing the silver medal in the 100m Women’s T-12 event clocking 14.79 sec. .
