Nalco open tennis tourney from Dec 13

Bhubaneswar : The Bhubaneswar Districts Tennis Association (BDTA) is all set to host the 23rd All Odisha Nalco Open Tennis Tournament at Kalinga Stadium Tennis Complex here from 13 to 15 December 2024.

The players will participate in the U-14 boys, girls, U-18 boys, women’s singles, men’s singles, doubles, veteran 40+, 50+ and 60+ doubles categories. The tournament featuring a total cash award of Rs 4.32 lakhs.

“For the first time the Veteran 60+ doubles category is introduced. The champion and runners up of each category will receive Rs 18,000 and Rs 12,000 respectively. While the semi-finalists and quarterfinalists will get Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. The professional coaches can only participate in the men’s open doubles category. The last date for the entry will be on 11th December 7 PM. Each player will enter maximum of two events”, informed BDTA Secretary Saswat Mishra.

The entry fees for the U-14 categories will be Rs 200, the men’s and women’s to be Rs 300 and all the doubles event to be Rs 5,00. For further information contact Siba Sankar Parida 9090603535. .
