Awards and achievements :  Madhuri  Meheta  the most Promising  Opener  Batswoman of  Odisha  State Cricket Team.  She  Belongs to Bolangir the Small town of Odisha where large numbers of  adivasi people are living. She  came to cricket in the Year 2006/07.

 Madhuri  used to playing cricket with her brother  Bharat ku Meheta  during her childhood. At  that time Madhuiri’s main work was to collect the balls when her brother  Bharat hits ball to long distance. Gradually  Madhuri’s interest  raised  and want to be a cricketer .But that time no chance to play cricket in any women cricket team, because  there were  no women Cricket team in home town  Bolangir.

Luckly  2006/2007 Bolangir district cricket association was formed and  participated in the Inter district cricket  tournament. Coach of Bolangir district association Arun kumar Naik  selected  Madhuri  in district team. After playing Cricket in district team the real talent came to know. Participated for the state team.  In the State team Madhuri  shown her talent.

2011- Madhuri  picked up in Indian senior  Team for  west-Indies  tour.
